Update: PBCA Announcements

A few weeks ago, we brought you the news that HUD plans to announce the PBCA (Project Based Contract Administrator) awards, selected from applicants applying under the NOFA (Notice of Funds Availability) on August 1, 2013.

However, the plaintiffs in the case had brought a motion before the court to Stay (not allow) the awards to be made.  HUD stated that if it was prohibited from doing so by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the awards will not be announced.

This past week, the Court denied the plaintiff’s Motion for the Stay of awards.  Unless HUD changes its mind, it will go ahead and announce the PBCA awards on August 1, 2013, and proceed with the timeline the announcement will contain.
